5 ways to beat Daylight Savings!

We recently ended daylight savings and turned our clocks back. Truth be told, I am not the biggest fan of turning the clocks ahead and falling back. Being a mom of small kids, I think it’s really hard for them to adjust, an hour makes a big difference. Anyone else feel that way?

So it’s been a few weeks now adjusting to the new time. I have to say, for the first time in a while, I am actually enjoying this! Why you ask?

Well, over the last few months, I have been making it a point to get up early, work out, get my thoughts together, and work on some business stuff. It is so hard to get up and out of the warm comfy bed when it is so dark outside!

With it getting a little lighter earlier, I have not struggled as much to get out of bed and start my day! I have found taking this extra time alone, without kids, really helps me set up my day for success.

The busier our lives get, the more important a morning routine is!

Do you have some morning non-negotiables?

My must dos…

1.) No snooze (Still working on this)

2.) Morning work out (If I don’t do it in the morning, it doesn’t get done)

3.) Daily to do list (That way I don’t forget anything, because, you know, mom life, we have lots of balls in the air)

4.) Coffee (Hello sanity)!

5.) Some type of breakfast! (We make egg muffins! They are perfect for on the go!I (Stay Tuned, I am thinking a future post!)

I am a work in progress, I don’t get it every time, and I do love to sleep too, but I have found the days that I make it a point to do this, the smoother my day goes. I would love to hear what your morning routine looks like!

Much Love my friends.
