Things have been a little nutty around us currently. For those that may be reading this later in time, we are in the midst of the global pandemic of COVID 19, week 3 of quarantine and social distancing. This is uncharted waters. The kids are out of school for who knows how much longer, non essential businesses have closed, we are knee deep into homeschooling, TP is in hot demand and the list goes on! Some are out of work, some are still working, some are working from home as their new normal.

Is anyone else feeling a bit anxious about all that’s going on? I may not feel particularly stressed, but my stomach and skin tell me otherwise. Stress can manifest itself in many physical ways, whether it is the acne that starts to develop, the dark circles under your eyes from lack of sleep, or the lackluster complexion. And I got you.

Self Care isn’t Selfish.

There is not much in your control right now. What you can control is… how you eat, whether or not you exercise, to have a positive mindset, and how you treat your skin.

In times of uncertainty, normalcy is what one tends to gravitate to, and what’s more normal than self care?!

Here are my 3 favorite products to reduce the signs of stress on your skin!

Unblemish Clarifying Mask

Our clarifying mask reduces excess oil, unclogs pores, and removes impurities from the surface of the skin in just 10 minutes. It then calms the skin, resulting in fewer blemishes and clearer skin over time. Mild exfoliation releases calming ingredients to reduce the visible redness and blotchiness associated with breakouts. With acne affecting nearly 85% teens, and up to 40% adults this is the perfect addition to any regimen to help with acne prevention and treatment!

Active Hydration Bright Eye Complex

before and after bright eye complex

Have you noticed your eyes looking tired? Dark circles, puffy under eye? That’s me with tired mommy eyes. This brightening, hydrating eye cream targets the signs of stress and fatigue by illuminating and soothing the thin, fragile skin around the eyes. It hydrates the dry under-eye skin, and improves the appearance of under eye puffiness over time for a more rested look.

Recharge Regimen

before and after recharge regimen

This regimen is formulated to fight skin issues like the appearance of dullness and dryness. These 3 simple steps moisturize, reveal a healthy looking glow, and boost skin’s defenses against everyday stressors like UVA/UVB rays, blue light screen time, lack of sleep, and questionable diet choices (anyone else snacking a ton?!). In times like this it may seem silly to chat skincare. But honestly, there’s no better time than the present to invest in you. It’s not selfish. It’s self care, and that isn’t a bad thing.
